Senate Launches Probe Into ‘Alleged Economic Sabotage’ In Nigeria’s Petroleum Sector

A thorough investigation into allegations of economic sabotage in Nigeria’s petroleum industry has been launched by the Senate.
A 15-person panel headed by Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele (APC, Ekiti-Central) is in charge of this investigation.

Sen. Adams Oshiomhole (APC, Edo-North), Sen. Ipalibo Banigo (PDP, Rivers-West), Sen. Asuquo Ekpenyong (APC, Cross River-South), and Senate Whip Sen. Mohammed Monguno (APC, Borno-North) are on the panel.

The panel announced its intention to invite more than 22 significant organizations and players in the oil and gas sector to submit vital information regarding recent changes in the industry on Thursday.
