Suspended Abia Health Commissioner Resigns Amid Financial Misconduct Allegations

Dr. Ngozi Okoronkwo, the suspended Abia State Commissioner for Health, has formally resigned from her role.

In a statement made public on Tuesday, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Alex Otti, Mr. Ukoha Njoku, acknowledged this event.

On June 11, 2024, Governor Otti had earlier suspended Dr. Okoronkwo amid claims of financial misbehavior.
