Following Governor Peter Mbah’s demand that Simon Ekpa, the acknowledged prime minister of Biafra, be deported from Finland, the government of Enugu State and Ekpa have exchanged verbal barbs.
During a working visit on Saturday, Governor Peter Mba urged the House of Representatives Committee on National Security and Intelligence to move quickly to expedite Simon Ekpa’s repatriation from Finland.
Simon Ekpa was blamed by Governor Mbah for the deaths and unrest in the South East. He claimed that criminal activity occurs in the South East due to Ekpa’s unlawful sit-at-home directive.
