Hilda Dokubo, a former Nollywood actress turned politician, has persisted in denouncing rumors that she was expelled from the Labour Party (LP) in her Asari Toru local government area (LGA) in Rivers state.
The ward executive committee of the LP in Rivers reportedly removed the party’s chairperson on Thursday due to financial misbehavior.
Ajalamonia Ibama, the ward chairman; Lole Amacheer, the secretary; and Emmanuel Ibamathe, the treasurer, signed a letter to Asari Toru, the chairman of the LP, indicating the suspension.
