Concerns have been expressed by the Edo State Government regarding an alleged attempt by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to obstruct a free and fair election for governor of the state scheduled for September 21, 2024.
Chris Nehikhare, the Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, announced this on Monday, according to NEWS 360 INFO.
Governor Godwin Obaseki recently said, “If a free and fair election is not allowed to hold sway in Edo State on September 21, 2024, it will trigger a major crisis in Nigeria,” during a stakeholders meeting. Nehikhare confirmed this statement.
