Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has described Republican Party presidential candidate, Former President Donald Trump, as a consummate liar.
Professor Wole Soyinka said Donald Trump understood the United States of America citizens’ psychology and have been manipulating them to ensure he returns back for the second time.
Soyinka said this in an interview with The News as part of activities to mark his 90-year birthday.
He further described Trump as danger to the world and America. “But he did one thing. He studied and he understood the American psyche.
“And he knew the right chord to tweak in order to get them on his side, to get them to believe anything that he says.
I don’t think the world has ever known such a consummate liar like Donald Trump. Trump, a one term US president, is vying for a second term,” Soyinka said.
Meanwhile, former Republican presidential aspirant, Nikki Haley, said it would be wrong to agree with Trump 100 percent.
The former United States of America United Nations representative, on Thursday, on her X handle, said President Joe Biden and the Democrats have moved too much to the left.
Haley said, “You don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him. Take it from me. I haven’t always agreed with President Trump. But we agree far more often than we disagree.”
She added that Trump was the better option to keep America safe and strong. “We agree on keeping America strong. We agree on keeping America safe. And we agree that the Democrats have moved so far to the Left that they’re putting our freedoms in danger,” she said.
