Uche Secondus, a former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged President Bola Tinubu to launch a comprehensive probe into claims of life threats made against Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Secondus emphasized the need to stop political carnage in Rivers State and the importance of the probe in view of the minister’s many charges.
He pleaded with the appropriate security services to protect human life and maintain a stable political climate.
Secondus emphasized in a statement issued by his media advisor, Ike Abonyi, that any behavior that results in the coercion or intimidation of people who hold different opinions has to be denounced in a democratic society.
