Dele Alake, Nigeria’s Minister of Solid Minerals Development, has urged African nations to seize management of their natural resources.

According to Dele Alake, the transition to renewable energy and related value chains has forced African nations to take ownership of their natural resources, from extraction to processing, from outsiders.

Speaking on Wednesday at the African Natural Resources & Energy Investment Summit, 2024, which took place at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja, Alake made this statement.
