Bauchi Governor Swears In 21 New Judges

Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi State, urged the six newly sworn justices to the State High Court and the fifteen to the Shari’a Court on Monday to uphold justice and equity in their official capacities.

Governor Mohammed stressed the judges’ responsibility in upholding due process and good governance in accordance with the state’s governance objectives during the swearing-in ceremony.

Governor Mohammed emphasized the role of the judiciary in upholding the rule of law and gave the newly appointed officials stern instructions to uphold the values of fairness and equity and to administer justice impartially.
