A $10 million initiative in skill development has been announced by the World Bank with the goal of lowering young unemployment in Nigeria.
Mistura Rufai, the Bank’s education specialist, announced this effort on Monday, July 15, at the start of a two-day workshop in Abuja on the signing and implementation of contracts and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Innovation Grant Facilities (IGF).
The Federal Ministry of Education’s Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS) Project was in charge of organizing the workshop.
