Tenants across the state will receive trash bags and containers from the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA).
The Lagos Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources announced this plan in a statement that was made public on Sunday.
At the opening of a community-based environmental sanitation awareness campaign at Campos Playground, Odunlami Street, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu stressed that the goal of this initiative is to enhance the appropriate bagging and disposal of garbage throughout Lagos.
