
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting is now being presided over by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting, which started at noon, is expected to cover important topics impacting many areas of the Nigerian economy.
The meeting was attended by most members of the cabinet, including several ministers.
The Procurement Act, the Samoa Agreement, the disconnection of universities from the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) platform, the creation of a University of Technology in Abuja, and the new Ministry of Livestock Development were reportedly the topics of last week’s meeting, which was chaired by the President.
