In the Iyana-Ipaja neighborhood of Lagos State, a family’s home near the Adealu bus stop nearly fell over the weekend, saving them from certain death.
In a statement released on Sunday, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), verified the occurrence.
He stated that at 2:44 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, the agency received a call for assistance through the 767 and 112 Emergency toll-free lines, which is how they learned about the incident.
