Caleb Mutfwang, the governor of Plateau State, has declared the immediate closure of Saint Academy School and directed a thorough inquiry into the building collapse that left 132 people injured and 22 people dead.
When the governor toured the school grounds, the principal and staff were there to welcome him, and he went around the collapsed building site in the state’s Busa Buji, Jos North Local Government Area, to examine the situation. The governor then issued the order for the closure of the school.
