Pally Iriase, a former deputy chief whip in the house of representatives, has publicly refused to accept the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) candidacy for the upcoming Edo State governorship race.
Upon learning of his participation in the APC campaign council list that was made public last Friday, Iriase expressed surprise and claimed that he had not been contacted beforehand.
Iriase emphasized that he had left active politics behind in order to maintain his present position on political participation.
