On Wednesday, the House of Assembly of Kaduna State declared that it had uncovered a massive theft that had taken place in the State when previous Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s administration was in charge, all under the pretense of project implementation.
They stated at a news conference in Abuja that certain political appointees have been frantically trying to discredit the House and hide the purported fraud that the El-Rufai government is doing.
The legislators argued that there was a systematic and coordinated cornering of Kaduna State’s resources through phony contracts and outright robbery, speaking through a statement released by Barrister Henry Magaji, the Deputy Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly and Chair of the Fact-Feeding Committee.
