On Tuesday, an Osun State High Court in Ile-Ife condemned three men to death by hanging for the murder of Mukaila Adebayo, a corps member, during a heist in the state capital of Osogbo.
Oludayo Oludele, a commercial motorcycle rider, Jelili Kareem, a herbal salesman, and Muyiwa Awodeji, an electrician, are the defendants in this case.
On January 28, 2020, at the Omo West Area of Osogbo, the prisoners allegedly planned to rob Adebayo, who was a corp member at the time.
According to Cap. 34, Vol. 2. Laws of State, 2002, the offenses were stated to be against and punishable by Sections 316, 319, and 324 of the Criminal Code Law.
