Residents of the Runka hamlet reported that the incident on Saturday resulted in men, women, and children going missing; they escaped into the bushes to avoid being kidnapped, but they have not returned as of yet.
Leadership claims that on Saturday night, the bandits struck, kidnapping both women and children before escaping into the jungle.
According to some locals of Runka, the bandits broke into houses one by one and took the occupants without facing any resistance.
