President Bola Tinubu’s refusal to appoint ambassadors, ten months after recalling all career and political ambassadors serving Nigeria abroad, has been denounced by Usman Sarki, the former Deputy Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the UN, and Fred Eno, the former Senior Advisor to the UN (Nigeria Office).
They emphasized that it is unacceptable to have such a protracted delay.
This was said by the pair on Friday during an appearance on Channels Television.
It is understood that Tinubu summoned all of the Nigerian ambassadors serving in over 100 embassies and high commissions from their host nations on September 2, 2023.
