The Anambra State Government has discovered 59 deceased individuals, 40 of them were retired employees. These included employees who were still receiving wages from the state’s local government system and those who were now employed by two tertiary institutions but had moved abroad.
According to NEWS 360 INFO, Vincent Ezeaka, the chairman of the Anambra State Local Government Service Commission, or LGSC, revealed this to reporters on Friday in Akwa, the state capital.
According to Ezeaka, the committee also found that 44 individuals were employed using fictitious First School Leaving Certificates, NECO, HND, OND, or BSc degrees.
