Death Toll From Borno Bombing Now at 31

As of Monday, the number of people killed in the suicide bombing in the Borno State district of Gwoza on Saturday has increased to 31, according to information released by Nigeria’s vice president, Kashim Shettima.

Shettima reports that of the 42 patients admitted to the specialized hospital, 14 had been treated and released.

26 people are still undergoing treatment, according to the vice president.

Shettima expressed her condolences to the families of those slain by the several blasts, and she personally donated to all of the deceased.
