According to President Bola Tinubu, criminal networks are being disrupted and dismantled as a result of security forces’ effective efforts to combat instability in the North-West.
Speaking on Monday at the North-West Peace and Security Summit, which was arranged by the North-West Governors’ Forum in Katsina, the President gave Nigerians assurances that the country is still being further secured and that the progress made thus far is only the beginning. Vice President Kashim Shettima spoke on behalf of the President.
“With various operations like Operation Hadin Kai and Operation Safe Haven, our military forces have made true their promise to the nation by targeting like Boko Haram and bandits who have held for too long,” Tinubu stated.
