Former military governor General Anthony Stephen Ukpo (Rtd) had his property revoked, but Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has revoked it.
It is understood that the land was first taken away by former Governor Nyesom Wike’s administration, purportedly out of animosity toward former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
The property in question, Ogeyi Place Hotels, formerly Le Meridien Hotels Limited, is situated at Plot 319, GRA Phase II, Port Harcourt, according to The Whistler.
