Flooding has struck Trademore Estate in the Lugbe Area of Abuja once more; this is the second time in about a year that it has happened.
Unsettling pictures and videos that are making the rounds on the internet show locals pleading with the federal government for help.
Recall that the government had intervened to tear down homes that were impeding the water’s natural course during the previous flooding incident. Some locals, however, took offense at these developments and staged protests.
