In Ekiti State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has sworn to prevent former governor Ayo Fayose from controlling the party’s organizational framework.
In an attempt to seize control of the party, Fayose and his allies were forewarned to seek refuge elsewhere.
Speaking during the party’s gathering of leaders and stakeholders in Ado-Ekiti, Gboyega Oguntuase, the former chairman of the PDP, asserted that they knew the Fayose was an All Progressives Congress mole (APC).
Oguntuase raged that the party would never permit the former governor to take control of it and use it as a means of personal benefit again.
