NDLEA Takes Action Against Snake-Guarded Shrine in Edo That Houses Illegal Drugs

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) stormed a temple guarded by a big black snake that was used to store illegal drugs in the Igor community of Benin City, Edo state.
The NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, disclosed in a statement on Sunday, June 23, that agents found a big, specially-made hole concealed by wallpaper and fetish items in a wall.

It was learned that several illegal substances were kept in this hidden area.
