Femi Adesina: “I Cried When Buhari Asked Me To Work For Him.”

During a book reading in Ibadan this past Saturday, Femi Adesina—the former president Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity—gave an emotive account of his initial reluctance and eventual decision to work for the president.

Adesina’s recently released book, *Working With Buhari: Reflections of a Special Adviser, Media, and Publicity (2015 – 2023)*, was the main topic of discussion at the highly attended event.
