Disagreement in Ondo communities about the disappearance of 300-level undergrads

Following the strange disappearance of Gideon Akindoyo, a 300-level computer engineering student at Al-Hikmah University, Igbaja, Kwara State, communities in Ondo State’s Irele Local Government Area are currently under strain.

It was reported that Gideon, who traveled home, rode his motorcycle to the field to collect cassava but never came back.

His motorcycle was spotted on the farm, raising the possibility that he had been abducted, even if his whereabouts were still a mystery.

The National Association of Nigerian Students, or NANS, linked the 30-year-old missing to the ongoing communal unrest in a statement released by its senate secretariat, led by Henry Okunomo, even as it urged the government to locate the missing student.
