The World Health Organization (WHO) has released a public warning over the spread of fraudulent diabetic drugs that have been available worldwide since 2022.
According to NEWS 360 INFO, the health group explicitly stated in a statement that beginning in October 2023, there will be problems with these counterfeit medications in Brazil, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
The medication Ozempic, which contains the active ingredient semaglutide and is approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in the EU, is at issue.
