In the Udu Local Government Area’s Aladja Community, two robbery suspects have been taken into custody by the Delta State Police Command.
The command’s public relations officer, SP Bright Edafe, revealed on Tuesday in Warri.
Edafe reported that Aladja police out-station agents had apprehended the alleged thugs.
He said that some suspected armed robbers were conducting a robbery operation in the Aladja neighborhood when the police received a distress call.
In addition to community members, the district officer mobilized to the location of the offenders’ arrest at Igwere Quarters, Aladja.
They had a single handgun manufactured in the area, some ammunition, a knife, and what seemed to be a stolen phone, he added.
