Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared his testimony on welcoming a set of twins with his wife, Chioma Rowland.
Recall that a video of Davido and his wife, Chioma, leaving a hospital in Atlanta, United States of America, with their newborn twins went viral on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Speaking at an event about the experience of losing a child, the singer said a lot of people would have stopped believing in God if such a thing had happened to them.
Davido noted that he kept his faith and stayed focused because of how supportive his team were to him.
The award-winning singer added that when he and his wife found out that they were having twins, they were shaken about it.
He said, “A lot of people this happened to, they’d never believe in God never in their life. But still, I have faith that is a story I want people to see. When me and my wife found out were shaking, and it was in the same month. My son passed in October 2022, and my twin came in October.”
Recall that the couple had lost their first son, Ifeanyi, on October 31, 2023.
