Lady Who Returned Misplaced $70,000 To Customer Decorated As Chief

A female staff of Eko Hotel and Suites, identified as Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, who returned a misplaced $70,000 to a customer in Lagos, has officially been honored with a chieftaincy title.

News360 Info had earlier reported that Mary, upon discovery of the bag containing a huge sum of money, reported the incident to the hotel management.

The hotel’s General Manager, in line with the establishment’s policy of integrity and transparency, promptly initiated the process of returning the money to its rightful owner.

Ngozi, who is from the Rundele community in Emuoha LGA, Rivers State, was decorated as the ambassador of Emohua LGA in recognition of her show of honesty and integrity days after the announcement.

The Chairman of Emohua LGA, Chidi Lloyd, unveiled Kekwaru as brand ambassador at a ceremony in the council secretariat on August 3.

Kekwaru performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a one-kilometre Omkpoba-Mgbere road being executed in Ibaa community of the local government before proceeding to the council secretariat for her formal decoration as ambassador.
