The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has accused the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, of trying to convince Nigerians to go against the judiciary.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Keyamo stated that Obi and Baba-Ahmed are trying to plot another EndSARS protest.
According to him, another protest like that would be dangerous as it would pitch supporters of various presidential candidate against each other.
He also accused the Labour Party of camping some young Nigerians in a hotel, charging them to push out dangerous narratives online.
The Chief Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council stated that most Nigerians have rejected Peter Obi’s ethnic and religious motivated campaigns to divide the nation.
He called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest and prosecute Peter Obi and his running for treason and for refusing to recognise Nigeria’s President-elect.
Keyamo stated that there has been not time that Labour Party has come out with authentic polling unit figures to back up their claims, stating that there is no basis for this agitation by the LP.
