Nigerians React As Peter Obi’s Rejection Letter For Land Allocation Emerges

The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate and former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi has sparked reactions after his rejection letter to a land allocation in the state surfaced online.

In the letter dated 8th May 2007, Obi was allocated two plots of land in the state, but he rejected them.

Obi said he became the governor to serve the masses devotedly and has distanced himself from undue privileges from the office.

The former Governor expressed appreciation to the State Housing Development commission for the thoughtful gift but declined the allocation.
