Former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo has been criticized for endorsing the Presidential aspiration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, while downplaying Peter Obi.
Some Nigerians accused Dokubo of fighting a Jihad by endorsing Tinubu, while antagonizing Obi and other South-East Presidential aspirants.
A few days ago, Dokubo said only Tinubu has the pedigree among all the 2023 Presidential aspirants.
Speaking with Arise Television, the former militant leader said only Tinubu has the right to urge Nigerians to vote for him because he is the only one that has ‘transformed a State.’
While applauding Tinubu, Dokubo claimed that Obi never recorded any achievement when he was serving as governor of Anambra State.
Stressing that Obi only provided boreholes and roads as governor, Dokubo insisted that Nigerians need someone better to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
He challenged Nigerians celebrating the achievement of the presidential aspirant to travel to other countries to see real achievements.
However, Nigerians accused the former Niger Delta warlord of working against the South-East Presidential ambition.
