The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has declared to run for the office of the president of Nigeria in 2023 under the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
Wike made his intentions known on Sunday while addressing a cross-section of PDP stakeholders in Benue state.
” This APC, they require people who will tell them that enough is enough and I am that person,” Wike said while addressing his audience.
Wike is considered a major stakeholder in the PDP and has been lauded for leading campaigns to win elections for the party in the past.
