Some Nigerian youths have fixed Tuesday, March 8, to protest the killing of a 22-year-old fashion designer, Oluwabamise Ayanwola.
In a flier shared on Twitter on Monday, the youths vowed to storm the state Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja and all BRT terminals in the state.
They also called for justice for the 22-year-old lady and the prosecution of all the suspects involved in the death of the fashion designer.
The protesters, who are set to converge at the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos by 7am, slammed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos Bus Services Limited over their perceived silence on the matter.
It has been reported that Anywaola went missing last week after she boarded a BRT bus going to Oshodi in the Chevron area of Lagos state.
She was, however, found dead with some parts of her body missing while her lifeless body had been deposited at the mortuary.
In a chat with Punch, one of the deceased’s relatives, they are awaiting the outcome of an autopsy to confirm their observation.
He noted that Bamise’s remain was first discovered in public late on Saturday when a BRT and jeep dumped her body and zoomed off.
Meanwhile, the BRT driver and two other suspects have been arrested by the state police command in connection to the abduction and death of Ayanwole.
