The Federal Government has been charged by a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, to parade the suspended Head of Intelligence Response Team, Abba Kyari like that of the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
The human rights activist questioned the secrecy in the arrest of Kyari unlike that of Kanu which was publicly paraded by the Directorates of State Services (DSS).
He called for Kyari to be paraded like the IPOB leader so that there would be equity.
The former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan made this call in a post on his Twitter account on Monday.
He wrote, “Why the secrecy over Kyari’s arrest? We saw how they paraded a political prisoner like Nnamdi Kanu in handcuffs.
“Let’s see Abba Kyari paraded like that too for equity. And since Kyari is a fashion consultant, let them force him to wear designers as they did to Kanu!”
In a related development, Omokri warned against the case being swept under the rug.
