INEC suspends CVR in Katsina, to begin display for corrections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Katsina State wishes to inform the General Public that the First Quarter of Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) Exercise will be temporarily suspended from Tuesday 21st September 2021.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Commission’s Public Affairs Officer in the state, Buhari Abashe for Resident Electoral Commissioner.

According to the statement, from 24th 30th September, 2021 the will display the names of new registered citizens for claims and objections where people who registered will have the opportunity to draw attention to mistakes in respect of age, address, gender, occupation or Polling Units in preparation of the next quarter of the registration which will commence on 4th October, 2021.

The display, according to the commission will be done at 34 INEC Local Government Areas Offices in the State.

Even those who registered at the Katsina State Office INEC headquarters their particular will appear at the LGAS, Wards and Polling Units they choice.
