Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua has decried the suspension of the ministry’s YouTube channel, Emmanuel TV for purportedly promoting hate speech.
The suspension occurred after the church shared a video of a church service in which the prophet called a man who possessed the “spirit of man” to come out for “deliverance”.
In a prophetic message during the service, TB Joshua said that the man had a woman in his life but did not love her because he found himself attracted to men.
The man promptly came out of the congregation and identified himself as Mr. Chetanna Nwabuwa, a Nigerian living in Ghana.
Nwabuwa said that he found himself physically attracted to men and desired to “kiss” them.
“Please, I want God to deliver me. I’m tired.
“I want to settle down…” Nwabuwa says in the video, which the church included as part of an online protest against Google-owned YouTube’s decision to suspend its channel.
The church said that when the video was posted on YouTube, it was captioned:
“THE SPIRIT OF MAN IS TORMENTING YOU!!!” | TB Joshua Personal Prophecy.
A young man possessed by a strange spirit receives a life-changing word of prophecy from Prophet TB Joshua, exposing the tormenting secret even his wife knew nothing about…
Watch God intervene in the complicated case of Mr Chetanna Nwabuwa – a Nigerian living in Ghana – who came to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in search of freedom for the demonic force troubling his life, career and marriage.
“God hates sin, not sinners. When the Bible says, ‘Do not judge so that you will not be judged’, it means we should hate sin, not the sinner because sinners can change. If you have killed a sinner by judging him, there will be no opportunity for change. Sinners can be delivered. We should hate the act, not the people because our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the ‘spirit beings’ that cause all these acts.” – TB Joshua
The church encouraged its members and “good Christians” to register their displeasure with the suspension of the YouTube channel by reaching out to the YouTube team across major social media channels – Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.
