Voters across Lagos-East Senatorial District marched out to decide on Saturday, as the All Progressives Congress, APC, up-and-comer, Tokunbo Abiru and Babatunde Gbadamosi of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, recharged contention in a bye-political decision.
The team will fight for the empty senate seat following the demise of the previous Senator speaking to the senatorial region, Bayo Osinowo, who was grabbed away by the unfeeling hand of Coronavirus.
Both Abiru and Gbadamosi have revealed their mission plan. In his mission plan, Abiru guaranteed individuals arranged portrayal inside the legal command of a representative.
The Independent National Electoral Commission 1,343,448 residents of the district are eligible to vote in the election. However, going by past experience, less than 50 per cent of the persons on the register may turn up to vote.
Lagos East is made up of five local government areas (LGAs) and 11 local council development areas (LCDAs).
