Covid-19: Four Isolation centers shut down in Ogun state

The Ogun State Government says it shut down four out of its six isolation centres for COVID-19 patients since it had just 18 patients on confirmation.

The government said it chosen to close the four centers while it kept on working the COVID-19 detachment and therapy focuses at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu; and the Federal Medical Center, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta.

The COVID-19 Incident Manager in the state, Dr Kayode Soyinka, made this known as of late while giving an update at a media roundtable composed by state Primary Health Care Development Board and the Society for Family Health in Abeokuta, the state capital.

He uncovered that no less than 118 COVID-19 patients in the state are presently getting treatment at their homes.

Soyinka, who is additionally the Director of Public Health at the state Health Ministry, said the state had tried 7,564 speculated cases, recorded 1,646 positive contamination’s just as 1,489 recuperation’s and 26 fatalities.
