Nollywood Actress Funke Akindele Bello may be charged to court for hosting a birthday party for her husband Abdulrasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) is leading the prosecution team against Mrs. Akindele Bello, The Nation reports.
The hearing is slated for 11am at Ogba Magistrate court 1.
Funke Akindele who was arrested for disobeying the lockdown rule has reportedly spent the night at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID office in Panti, Lagos.
Funke’s husband, Abdulrasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz who was absent during his wife’s arrest turned himself in and is currently with her in Panti.
Singer Naira Marley, Eniola Badmus and other guests at the party who the police have asked to report at the SCID for questioning are still being awaited.
