Two Nigerian Soldiers Test Positive For Coronavirus In Borno

Two Nigerian soldiers in Monguno, Borno State have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The soldiers returned to camp after they were issued administrative passes. Since Saturday March 28, 2020 they have been quarantined at Sector 3 Mission Headquarters.

As at 29th March, 2020 the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported a total of 111 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, and 1 death. The Director-General of NCDC, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu has today stated that the NCDC expects the confirmed cases of coronavirus to rise as they improve capacity to test.
