President Muhammadu Buhari has been summoned by the house of representatives over incessant killings in the country.
The motion to summon Buhari was moved by an All Progressives Congress member from Kano State, Mr. Bashir Baballe.
The president was summoned during plenary on Wednesday.
The lawmakers asked the president to appear before then to give reasons for the killings and to brief them on the security situation in the country.
Over 100 Nigerians have been killed across the country just between April 20 and 24.
