Popular dancehall star, Burna Boy, has declared he will join his colleague, 2face Idibia, in a nationwide protest against ‘obnoxious policies’ implemented by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
Recall that the music legend had announced that on February 5, he would be leading a protest in ‘a call for good governance.
Burna Boy has indicated his interest in the protest, saying he is ready to die.
On his Twitter handle, @burnaboy, he wrote: “I’m ready to die for this shit. Like most or all of you.
“Most times I find myself asking if it is really worth it, but this is my home, so f**k it.
“True, but we are NIGERIA and not those f**kers.
“We can change this shit if we all really stand up.
“We are the powers, not them.
“Make all men wey dey this BG fall out for this March.
“I personally never believed that marching helps anything but it is better than nothing,” he tweeted.
In a swift reaction, award-winning songster, Davido tweeted @iam_Davido: “I gallant with you my brother, we go full ground.”
