Pretty Mike: Police to treat chained girls’ case as criminal investigation

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP, Fatai Owoseni has said that the Command will treat Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, aka Pretty Mike‘s case as a criminal one.

Recall that the popular Lagos club owner was arrested by the police in the state for dehumanizing young girls by turning them into human puppies with chains round their necks.

His arrest came after photos of him attending a wedding with two ladies whom he chained to the neck, went viral online.

In the pictures, he was seen putting leash on young girls and leading them to a wedding in Lagos.

He was arrested for what was called a ‘dehumanizing act’ and was also made to sign an undertaking that he will not repeat the act.

But the CP has reinstated that the Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, DSVRT, of Lagos State are still looking into the matter.

Addressing newsmen in the state, he said, “The command will be looking at the story from the angle of criminal investigation and will keep the public abreast of any development.”
