Puerto Rico’s Stephanie Del Valle was crowned Miss World 2016 during the pageant in Maryland, the United States, on Sunday.
The second runner-up was the Dominican Republic’s Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez, and the third runner-up was Indonesia’s Natasha Mannuela.
Miss Kenya and Miss Philippine were among the top five winners.
The results were officially announced by the jury.
The Miss World pageant took place at MGM National Harbor resort and Casino in Oxon Hill.
Stephanie Del Valle, 19, received the crown from the Miss World 2015 winner, Mireia Lalaguna from Mexico.
The contestants from Russia, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Hungary, Ghana, India, Kenya, China, South Korea, the Cook Islands, Mongolia, Slovakia, the US, Thailand, the Philippines, France and Japan also made it to the top 20.
A total of 117 contestants took part in the pageant.
Other winners in the night were Miss China, picked as the top model, Miss Mongolia, picked for talent and Miss Philippine for multimedia.
