An American history teacher, Frank Navarro, has been suspended from Mountain view high school, bay Area, California, where he teaches history, for comparing the new president, Donald Trump, to Adolf Hitler.
In his history class, he compared Hitler to Donald Trump, stating that the new President-elect followed in the words of Hitler to make America great again.
The management of the school asked Navarro to go home on suspension after the school administrative team received a complaint email by a parent concerning his statements in the class.
The teacher who has taught in the school for forty years was sad over the development stating that it was a short class paralleling Hitler to Trump when Hitler was running from 1930-1933.
According to Frank, the freedom of speech was being squashed an he had a right to speech as everything he said was factually based on hard facts.
In his words,
‘This feels like we are trying to squash free speech, everything I talk about is factually based. They can go and check it out. It’s not propaganda or bias if it’s based on hard facts, I had a short lesson paralleling Hitler with Trump when Hitler was running from 1930 to 1933. Hitler said he would make Germany great again, and Trump said he would make America great again’
