Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Wednesday, sacked three commissioners.
The development was made known by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello.
Among the affected persons are the commissioners for Tourism, Mr Folorunsho Folarin-Coker; Finance, Dr. Mustapha Akinkunmi and Transport, Dr. Ekundayo Mobereola.
The statement said the governor directed the Special Adviser, Arts and Culture to take over as the Acting Commissioner for Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
According to the statement, the Special Adviser on Transportation will take over as Acting Commissioner for Transportation, while the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance will take over as the Acting Commissioner for Finance, pending the appointment of new Commissioners in the respective ministries.
Meanwhile, the reason behind Governor Ambode’s cabinet reshuffle is not yet known but he wished the dismissed commissioners well and appreciated them for their service to the state.
